About the role

About the Role:
  • Lead the Unitas and Wholesale team in the successful delivery of Volume, Revenue, Gross Profit and market share business goals.
  • Coaching and developing 2 direct reports.
  • Work with key customers to ensure that plans and commitments are delivered in full.
  • Manage the Unitas Head office relationship, leveraging Bacardi’s position to generate a culture of ‘pull sales’ rather than pushing volume in.

Responsibilities

Reponsibilities:
  • Delivery of budgeted £NSV and £GP targets, by working closely with other functions such as Operations, Category Development, Finance and Marketing to ensure best team delivery against agreed KPI’s and targets
  • Prepare, implement and monitor strategic and joint business plans for the customers, continuing to help the channel evolve from a ‘push’ traded model to a ‘pull’ execution led model.
  • Manage the Unitas Head office terms and contact strategy to leverage Bacardi brands and change ways of working.
  • Work with key customers on trading and sales strategies. Prioritise strategic customers and teams callage to give most effective growth YOY.
  • Manage, coach and develop capability of your 2 direct reports.

Skills and Experience

What we're looking for:
  • Broad sales and account management experience, from within the wholesale, retail, grocery, cash &carry, food service or related channel
  • Track record of customer development, cross-functional working and managing complex contact strategies
  • Line management experience and a passion for coaching and driving capability
  • A proven negotiator, with experiencing of managing negotiations across a range of customers. Highly commercial with a strong numerical ability.
  • The ability to ruthlessly prioritise, and work autonomously on appropriate projects and tasks,
  • Good communication skills will be essential. Internally you will need to show that you can work with various teams to deliver successful projects.
