Responsibilities
- Support your team and the broader organization in further defining and implementing the company Product Innovation Strategy that puts the consumer at the heart of our approach and dramatically increases innovation contribution
- Partner with the Business Development, Disruptive Innovation and Digital Innovation teams as required to ensure a coordinated and strategically coherent company-wide approach to innovation
- Support the broader Innovation community to deliver compelling innovation projects that leverage our existing portfolio of brands to meet new and unmet consumer needs while strengthening the equity of the brands
- Responsible for identifying and delivering outstanding and distinctive portfolio-wide platform innovation initiatives and new brand propositions that are grounded in consumer and cultural understanding and satisfy consumer needs that cannot be met by our current portfolio of brands
- Partnering with the Insight Director and Global Innovation Director on uncovering and understanding future where to play opportunities and creating the roadmap to bring them to life for the business
- Inspire and coach the extended team of brand and market product innovation leads who will embed and drive the transformation approach in their respective businesses
- Role model and champion a fearless but disciplined innovation mindset among our Primos (our name for employees, which means cousin in Spanish)
- Leverage your previous expertise in raising our innovation capability by supporting the Global Innovation Director on the codification and embedding of best practices and the development and roll out of the Product Innovation modules within the Bacardi Way of Growth
- Support the cross-functional innovation (Operations, Finance, Insights, Commercial) team responsible for delivering the improvements in our approach to developing and commercializing product innovation
- Champion the latest technology and digital enablers to accelerate our product innovation transformation
Skills and Experience
- Broad and deep experience of end to end consumer products innovation from opportunity identification to launch commercialization
- Comprehensive understanding of consumer-centered, innovation development processes and best in class commercialization
- Strong relationship building skills and proven ability to influence across senior levels in the Innovation, Marketing and Commercial communities and create alignment within cross-functional teams and with stakeholders from a broad variety of markets and cultural backgrounds
- Strong strategic sense with ability to simplify the complex and turn possibilities in to commercial reality; strong track record of delivering results
- Strong organizational and project management skills,
- Creativity to develop solutions that will disrupt the future moments that matter for our consumers and good creative judgment in a product development and design context
- Proven ability to coach and mentor others to adopt best practices and raise their capabilities
- Spirits or beverage alcohol experience helpful but not required, experience of FMCG brands is required
- Digitally savvy and an advocate for leveraging technology to drive productivity and efficiency
