Your Opportunity

To champion, promote and deliver best in class Earned and Influence strategies and activations, embedding Bacardi’s Incubation Portfolio into the cultural conversation. 

The Incubation Portfolio is a winning collection of brands that play to people’s growing taste for craft and luxury. You will work within a team of entrepreneurial specialists who are fearless in building icons of the future, and report to the VP of Brand PR & Influence.

You will be responsible for developing strategies for local deployment, leading local brand building campaigns, and managing evergreen activities across key markets.

About You 

This role is for an experienced communicator who has a track record in influencing multiple stakeholders and is a confident self-starter in their work style. You are a doer, not a delegator. You approach projects in a collaborative manner working in cross-functional teams within a matrix Global business. Someone who gets things done, plans and executes with excellence, can lead and manage multiple projects at one time, and who has a good sense of humor. 

Responsibilities

With our Consumer at the heart, your key focus will be to:
  • To champion, promote and deliver best in class Earned Media and Influence strategy, plans and execution that embed our brands into the cultural conversation of consumers and into the hearts and minds of the bartending/advocacy community.
  • Work within a small but dynamic team of entrepreneurial Brand specialists, across a portfolio of small but mighty Incubation Brands, including ST-GERMAIN, ABERFELDY, and ANGEL’S ENVY, developing strategies for local deployment, leading local brand building campaigns, and managing evergreen activities across key markets.  You will report to the VP of Brand PR & Influence. 
  • Lead multiple PR agency relationships across key markets and have the gravitas to operate at senior levels in a matrix global organisation. 
  • Partner with Local Brand Teams to lead the annual PR and Influence strategy and activity calendar, as well as goal setting and measurement.
  • In addition to “flagship” moments, work with agencies to ensure a steady stream of media and influencer coverage year-round through hardworking and creative plans.
  • Work closely with IAT to execute creative, integrated, and innovative activity that drives scale and impact.
  • Create captivating brand narratives and series of soundbites to ensure stories are compelling for the target audience.

The Skills & Experience needed to create your legacy
  • Proven ability to think strategically and expertise in delivering culture-defining PR, Influencer and Comms work for portfolio brands, executing brilliantly to build brand awareness and allure.
  • This role is for a leader who is a doer, not a delegator. You see the big picture but are not afraid to get hands dirty and approach projects in a collaborative manner working in cross-functional teams within a matrix business. Someone who gets things done, plans and executes with excellence, can lead and manage multiple projects at one time and who has a good sense of humor. 
  • An experienced strong communicator with the ability to influence multiple-stakeholders; you’ll have a track-record in partnering with Executives, Brand Spokespeople, Ambassadors and Influencers to deliver outstanding Comms campaigns, this will stand you in good stead to ensure alignment, understanding and buy-in.
  • Experienced in activating Influencer campaigns – both social-first activity and media-worthy talent to drive noise.
  • This person knows how to advise and execute across traditional media publicity, digital and video communications; social and influencer activations and partnerships to ensure our brands use the most modern PR methods.
  • You’ll have experience with and an understanding of the US media landscape, as well as other key media markets.

  • A confident self-starter with solid PR and/or journalism and publicity experience (+8 years). Candidate must be able to work autonomously, leading projects and reporting back into various teams across Brand and Comms on progress, issues and successes.
  • Personal traits including gravitas, strongly articulate, tenacity, creativity, curiosity, and the ability to connect the dots and get things done.
