About the role


As the Sr. Manager for Commercial Performance, you will be responsible for providing actionable insights through forward looking analysis and financial performance evaluation. Working in close collaboration with Bacardi Sales & our Distributor counterparts, this individual will play an important role in establishing & supporting commercial processes, performance based analytics, value optimization, identification of risks/opportunities, and  provide actionable insights to key stakeholders throughout the organizations. This individual will also have significant interaction with our Distributor Partners to monitor financial and depletion-based performance aspects of the relationship.


Ideal candidates for this role have a strong analytics background, commercial exposure, financial and pricing knowledge.  Being extremely comfortable navigating & transforming large data sets into insights is a must.  The ability influence, partner, and lead across all level internal and external, while being agile to drive value and results is critical.


  • Work closely with the Commercial Finance Director, Commercial Analytics Director, Sales and Distributor/Broker Partners focusing on forward looking analysis, insights and performance reporting versus execution of commercial strategies 
  • Manage two direct reports, mentoring and guiding them on advanced analytics methodology & strategic thinking
  • Strong contributor / supporter of business cycles: planning, budgeting, performance reviews, assessment of R&O, drivers & solutions, new items
  • Supports all RGM and all pricing initiatives within their region
  • Continuously identify risks and opportunities by analyzing industry trends to provide commercial insights to the broader organization.
  • Supports delivery of strategic analysis and practical direction for our Sales Partners to ensure targets are met 
  • Apply frameworks, tools, and guidelines to drive greater effectiveness and ROI of commercial investments and promotional spending
  • Aids Commercial Finance Director in strategic pricing analysis and delivery
  • Contribute to internal cross functional and external Joined Up Business Planning (JUBP) process with SGWS to ensure collaborative planning for all aspects of commercial plans
  • Takes lead support role in managing and executing ad-hoc projects
  • Supports processes & maintenance of Anaplan to help deliver accurate depletions-based performance and activity based financial metrics
  • Become the subject matter expert for usage of internal/external data systems, including training field on reporting cadence, tools, and solutions
  • Collaborates effectively with Business Analytics and Technology team to help drive dart and the advanced analytics agenda
  • Help build and embed the functional capability of Analytics, Pricing Strategy and Trade and Promotional Investment Optimization to drive value growth across the markets

Skills and Experience

  • Solid Financial Acumen, strong Analytical background, technical skills, data savvy, ability to execute strategies in market appropriately
  • Healthy internal & external working relationships, especially with Commercial teams, Distributor/Brokers, State ABC Boards, and other Support teams
  • High comfort modelling and understanding large and complex data sets into useful information and insights
  • Good judgment and ability to manage details yet see the bigger picture to ensure solutions alignment.
  • Ability to understand and influence decision making, especially commercial decisions
  • Thought Leadership, Partnership, & Value Creation Mindset Mentality - for both Companies
  • Ability to balance sense of urgency / timeliness with data/facts, but able to drive to timely decisions efficiently
  • Strong Communication Skills - written, verbal, presentation
  • Ability to work effectively across functions and organizational levels to achieve desired goals
