About the role

As overall head of site operations, defines and executes site specific strategies aligned to global
framework and annual business goals.

Key accountabilities and responsibilities

In this role you will be accountable to create strategies and execute them in your manufacturing unit. Your ability to manage multiple stakeholders at any given time will be key, as will be your comfort in working seamlessly within the matrix, in particular with the Operations teams and India Commercial teams.
  • Lead the team and efforts of material scheduling, production planning, procurement and material warehouse at Plant. Coordinate with internal stakehodlers/copacker personnel for timely execution of production and despatch schedules.
  • Coordinates with Sales controllers and their teams to understand their market requirements (import permits) and supplies the finished goods to meet their requirement.
  • Responsible for meeting order fulfillment rates and
  • Responsible for improving material scheduling process to reduce the material inventory at the Plant level.
  • Responsible and accountable for the production planning at Plant to improve efficiencies, reduce machine change-overs and improve customer service.
  • Accountable for all the Legal and Statutory compliance, related with the receipt ,manufacture and dispatch of the material.
  • Responsible for RM/PM receipt and storage at Plant and related Warehouses.
  • Coordinates with the sales coordinators in other countries and supplies/exports the finished product as per their requirement.
  • Responsible for Plant procurements both direct and indirect materials and dealing with suppliers to improve performance

Measures of success

Performance: Achieve financial targets(Costs and Efficiencies) vs. budget; Achieve “Pictures of Success” targets

Cost Management: Drive Costs and work out mitigation measures for inflation and other cost pressures

Customer: Deliver Quality at market place and achieve targeted Quality measures

Engagement: Support delivery of engagement and enablement activities in order to deliver sustained
improvement as measured through the Employee Engagement Survey (EES)

Critical experiences for success

To be successful in this role you will have/be:
  • Post Graduate with relevant work experience in a Medium Sized Manufacturing Unit out of which at least 3 Years at Managerial level.
  • Should have hands on experience of material scheduling and production planning in fast moving consumer goods industry
  • Should have sound knowledge & Skill on customer relationship.
