About the role

As the lead on the Country Revenue Growth Management, you will be accountable for creating value and driving Profitability for Bacardi India & Neighbouring Countries. You will build and develop capabilities to drive sustainable NSV/case & GP/Case growth by creating best in class RGM practices that enables us to Set, Get and Keep price as well as to optimize Product mix. This role is the owner for driving Gross Profit Margins through various means of Pricing, product & state mix and driving efficiencies in cost lines. Role requires an eye for details, high analytical skills around financial numbers and business acumen. Your ability to combine a strategic business approach while managing multiple projects at any given time will be key, as will be your comfort in working seamlessly within the matrix, with the Sales, Brand & Customer Marketing Leadership. This role drives various forms of financial reporting and target setting to enable company objectives of increased profitability and choiceful decision making. 


  • Drive annual growth in net revenue and gross profit per case through a best in class Revenue Growth Management practice (analysis, strategy and programs) that is fully embedded in the IAP process.
  • Build and embed the functional capability of Pricing Strategy (Set, Get and Keep price) and Trade and Promotional Investment Optimization driving value growth in your market
  • Ensure Pricing parity with competition as per aligned benchmarks
  • Apply the frameworks, tools and guidelines to drive greater effectiveness and ROI of commercial investments and promotional spending
  • Navigate State excise policies and changes therein  for product registrations and Pricing
  • Drive visibility of various levers of Gross Profit and brand contributions to Sales & Marketing Teams and work on various automation projects 
  • Work on Profitability of new innovations and brand launches
  • Deliver Gross Profit Budgets & Long Term Plans as per regional timelines
  • Challenge the organization ensuring our Country channel strategies lead to continuous brand-pack-channel mix optimization in order to drive NSV and GP per case.
  • Apply the global trade terms framework which drives trade spend transparency and optimization, and enables the commercialization of our Category Pricing strategies
Develop talent and capability
  • Together with Commercial Development, own and embed the Bacardi Commercial Way framework to  build the organization’s capacity to deliver year on year value growth and build best in class Commercial capabilities 
  • Build a learning organization by creating a “share, steal and reapply” culture that systematically identifies and rolls-out best practices and creates synergies. 

Skills and Experience

  • CA with 10+ years of experience.
  • Commercial skills gained through Business Partnering roles/Sales & Market Finance
  • Analytical skills for Business cases, Profitability Analysis, Value Chain Analysis
  • System understanding on SAP, Route to Market movements.
  • Experience in roles related to understanding customer and channel dynamics.
  • Proficiency in English language skills
The following experiences are preferred:
  • Experience within one or more companies that have an established reputation for category management excellence. 
  • Experience in the Spirits and/or overall beverage Industry is a distinct advantage 
  • Positive energy, playing well with others
