About the role

Your Opportunity

The role of Technology is evolving, we need a curious and talented individual to lead our Digital Commerce initiatives. 

This role has two value add opportunities 
  • Partner with our Digital Commerce Teams to identify and translate eCommerce growth opportunities to a Tech roadmap
  • Delivery of Digital Commerce Tech roadmap helping enable our growth ambitions and delighting our Consumers and Customers
About You
  • You are obsessed with exploring opportunities for Bacardi to increase our Digital Commerce presence, partner and meet our growth ambitions 
  • You have an appreciation for the challenges of a fast-changing Digital Landscape and the commitment and focus needed in Tech to deliver with quality and exercise great judgement
  • You a great communicator and apt at driving change through all levels of the organisation – helping us build agility and are not afraid to learn from your mistakes


With our Consumer at the heart, your key focus will be to:
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to gain a deep understanding of Digital Commerce Opportunities and Journeys (current and future); provide input into investment or business cases
  • Business Partner with our Digital Commerce teams (including their agencies/Customers) to help 
    • Identify and Translate Digital Commerce needs to Tech initiatives– building business cases and partnering in value realisation 
    • Trusted advisor/Internal Consultant assessing feasibility of delivery as well as advising on changing trends and new opportunities  
  • Program Management of the Digital Commerce Tech portfolio, working closely with the Tech PMO to 
    • Maintain a consolidated view of all programs & projects that are directly managed, or will have an impact to the Digital Commerce including resources, budget & Key milestone dates 
    • Build Tech Roadmap in support of above - Aligning the sequencing and prioritisation of delivery to where it will drive the most value and impact  
    • Lead delivery through cross functional Tech teams, our delivery partners and/or connected Product Teams (E.g., Security, Enterprise Architecture, Operations, Data and Analytics) 
    • Provide regular and ad-hoc progress updates to the Digital Commerce Teams leveraging existing forums and communication methods to make maximum impact.
    • Explore new ways of working to help accelerate delivery focused on impact and value 
    • Seek Feedback and drive to action – welcoming it as an opportunity to continuously evolve, improve, and learn
  • Active contribution to and role-model an inclusive team culture where all Prim@s and our partners contributions are recognised for their contributions and impact
  • Celebrate Key Milestones, documenting case studies, sharing learnings, and recognising contributions
  • Bring Insights from the industry to help accelerate the implementation and focus on driving value for Bacardi and our Consumers  

Skills and Experience

The Skills & Experience needed to create your legacy
  • Experience managing Digital Commerce Tech Initiatives - complex roadmaps, associated budgets and other related resources - Ability to deal with ambiguity and competing objectives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience of working and delivering in Agile, Waterfall in a cross functional, Multi-Vendor environment working across multiple geographical locations with competing priorities
  • Able to plan capacity, allocate work within the team, manage releases, govern delivery, identify, and mitigate risks to timelines
  • Experience delivering Digital Commerce / eCommerce products and solutions with proven revenue growth or lessons shared and actioned from having to pivot or end initiatives.
  • Strong Commercial and Technical understanding of Pure Player and ecosystems
  • Strong understanding of Ecommerce Platforms and engagement channels, Tech trends for the future and able to communicate complex ideas simply
  • Experience building High performing teams (Internal and external) focused on shared goals and outcomes in service of Consumers 
  • Strategic and Critical thinker and problem solver – able to respectfully challenge the status quo and drive transformation
  • Aspirational leader able to actively contribute to strengthening our inclusive and equitable culture
