About the role

WHAT DOES A SENIOR M&SC FINANCE ANALYST DO?

The Manufacturing & Supply Chain Finance Analyst provides essential financial support to the Manufacturing & Supply Chain business.  The Manufacturing & SC Finance Analyst will help drive business performance.  This role will own and be the first point of contact on all locally managed product costing requirements as well as playing a crucial role in the monitoring and support of manufacturing operations costs reporting analysis. They will also have the responsibility for business partnering our Engineering, Production, Quality and Health & Safety departments providing business finance support to continually deliver effective cost control and drive performance improvement across all site operations costs.  Lastly, they will be financial lead on new product innovations where they will “connect the dots” between finance and operations to drive profitability.
This role will require a passion for understanding operational processes and how they translate into the financials.  They will have the opportunity to affect business decisions by influencing management across many areas of the organisation.

Responsibilities

WITH OUR CONSUMER AT THE HEART, YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE TO:
  • Lead the Financial Reporting and Analysis for the Manufacturing and QEHS business operations.
  • Financial lead for value creation and new product development projects.
  • Business partner with the Engineering, Production, Quality and Health & Safety departments challenging, collaborating and finding ways to drive the business forward, utilising our resources effectively to unlock value.
  • Shared ownership of product costing and transfer pricing.
  • Analysis of manufacturing variances and resolution of any issues that arise. 
  • Deliver critical tasks to deadlines, including monthly reporting, forecasting, budgeting and SOX controls.
  • Grow you, your colleagues as well as the business, so the next 10 years are the best for you and Bacardi.
  • Share of general finance team responsibilities which include (mail scanning, raising/banking of cheques, urgent payments and raising P-card requests).

Skills and Experience

THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED TO CREATE YOUR LEGACY:
  • A professional accounting qualification with post qualification experience commensurate to the role.
  • 2+years of related work experience in financial / accounting / analysis ideally in a multi-national / cultural environment.
  • Previous product costing / manufacturing accounting experience is beneficial but not essential.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate financial issues and solutions to non-financial colleagues.
  • Analytical and diligent in approach, with an attention to detail.
  • Strong systems skills and excel wizardry, with the ability to digest complexity and find innovative solutions.
