About the role
Responsibilities
- Key role within the UK’s biggest channel
- Lead, inspire and coach the customer account team, ensuring all team members have Commitments, Primo Profiles and development plans in place
- Lead the creation and implementation of the annual Joint Business Plan that will deliver budgeted Volume, £NSV and £GP targets
- Responsible for monthly forecast accuracy delivered through the analysis of customer EPOS sales and systems, reported internally on a regular basis
- Collaborate cross-functionally with departments such as Operations, Category Development, Finance, RGM and Marketing to ensure the best possible delivery against agreed KPI’s and targets
- Create and lead key contract strategy and network across all customer departments – (Commercial / Buyers & Operators, Range & Marketing Managers, Data providers) to deliver a winning strategy across the customer in its totality (main estate, convenience, online)
- Look beyond the outline customer plan and pursue new opportunities / ways of working to strengthen both the relationship and performance within the customer
- Build talent through the development of Primos by sharing Off Trade capabilities and best practices
- Be a fearless and family member of the Off Trade Team, sharing best practise and encouraging the team to bring their founders mentality to drive One Team success
Skills and Experience
- Must have a minimum of 5 years sales experience with direct P&L responsibility
- Exceptional strategic account planning ability through JBP negotiations
- Demonstrate very strong financial and commercial acumen and strategic thinking
- Ability to negotiate success while creating and maintaining strong relationships
- Must be able to demonstrate how you have used your creativity to drive distribution / volume / rate of sale
- Confident team player, capable of operating at all levels
- Strong communication skills, ability to influence and drive decision-making across all levels and functions
- You are a highly motivated and passionate individual with desire to drive results
- You are not afraid to make mistakes and learn from those on your team
- Resilience and tenacity are a must for this role
