About the role

YOUR OPPORTUNITY

As Supply Chain Director you will lead a team of specialists to deliver a comprehensive product supply plan designed to support significant company growth in the EEURA region. You will be a key member of the Regional leadership team and interact and collaborate closely with the commercial teams to deliver the best possible service to our customers.

Responsibilities

WITH OUR CONSUMER AT THE HEART YOUR KEY FOCUS WILL BE
  • With the Regional President, develop and execute a comprehensive supply chain strategic plan designed to support growth plans in the Region which will drive optimal customer service and profitability
  • Be an active part of the EEURA leadership team; ensure strong supply chain representation and collaboration.
  • Identify and execute the balance between customer requirements, inventory optimization, manufacturing efficiencies, including capacity planning, SKU rationalization, planning and execution.
  • Manage the EEURA distribution budget and deliver a pipeline of cost related projects to beat inflation over time.
  • Own the Sales and Operations Planning process to ensure business KPIs are met including availability.
  • Ensure that logistic service/warehouse providers as well as the local Third Party Manufacturers adhere to agreed standards and KPIs; conduct performance reviews and mitigate risks
  • Establish policies, procedures, performance metrics, and resource requirements to ensure reliability, speed, convenience and best value to customers
  • Respect the regulations associated with the Supply Chain activities (customs duty, excise, VAT, Strip Stamps etc)
  • Manage the Demand and Supply Planning processes to ensure product availability
  • Identify and execute the balance between customer requirements, inventory optimization, manufacturing efficiencies, including capacity planning, SKU rationalization, planning and execution
  • Establish and maintain effective cooperation with key stakeholders
  • Share best practice and cooperate closely with Supply Chain teams across EEURA
  • Build visibility between financial target and volume sales plan and support the financial team in the financial cycle.

Skills and Experience

SKILLS - THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED TO CREATE YOUR LEGACY
  • Degree in Business / Finance / Economics or Engineering (specialization in purchasing is an asset) or equivalent.
  • Specialization in supply chain is an advantage.
  • Min. 10 years’ experience in a Supply Chain role, preferably in a multinational matrix structure environment.
  • Knowledge across customer service, supply and demand planning and logistics gained in an FMCG environment but or high tech / pharma industries.

Functional Skills:
  • Solid understanding of end to end supply chain process, planning, forecast (including industry analysis skills)
  • Strong business acumen and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Great presentation and communication skills
  • Influencing skills / Directing Others - ability to influence and understand differing needs of stakeholders. 
  • Able to manage in a matrix environment and to effectively engage with stakeholders of same and other functions.
  • Organization changes management experience.
  • Ability to develop a team to the next level 
Technical/Language Skills:
  • Advanced MS Office Skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
  • ERP - SAP & BI (not mandatory)
  • Proficient in supply chain issues within an integrated planning environment
  • Mastery of Planning process
  • Mastery of analytical and reasoning abilities
  • Excellent general IT literacy
  • Proficient in Product Innovation and Logistics / Distribution processes
  • Broad Supply Chain experience, ideally focused on the customer side rather than production/manufacturing.
  • Experience in other departments such as Sales or Finance a plus
  • Fluent English with other languages a plus
