About the role

Your Opportunity

Digital transformation is a key pillar to help the Incubation Brand portfolio achieve its long-term growth targets through consumer discovery and love for our brands. 
  • Act as Social Media Manager on Incubation Brands (Aberfeldy, Craigellachie, St Germain, Oxley, Banks plus others) including content calendar creation, copywriting, uploading content, social listening, community engagement, reporting
  • Manage multiple, ad-hoc projects to support Digital Marketing Manager and local brand teams execution
  • Support with digital content creation

Responsibilities

With our Consumer at the heart, your key focus will be to:

Please note, there are two roles available with different focus specialisms:

  • Role 1: Focusing on Community Management
    • Manage social community platforms daily to respond to comments or direct messages, like positive comments, remove inappropriate content and escalate issues
    • Undertake social listening to understand consumer trends, join conversation and spot opportunities
  • Role 2: Focusing on Content production
    • Create and design high-quality, engaging creative assets to bring the brands to life across social media channels, with expert knowledge of social channel best practice
    • Develop briefs and manage creative production via agency partners as required
Both roles will also include the following:
  • Manage multiple, ad-hoc projects to support Digital Marketing Manager and local brand teams’ execution.
  • Partner with brands to establish and build owned social channels (e.g. Instagram, Facebook, Twitter), running engaging social activity which responds to consumer needs and desires. 
  • Support the development of social media strategy and content strategy, thinking of innovative ways to engage and develop social communities across a variety of brands, and working with brand teams to plan campaigns
  • Develop and execute quarterly editorial planning and monthly content calendars for social media, including copywriting for some or all posts
  • Manage paid & owned social media with internal management tools, including some copywriting
  • Measure the effectiveness of social activity, including delivery of monthly analytics reporting to brands, and recommendations for optimization and to increase brand love
  • Monitor trends in social and mobile media exploring new trends, tools and apps that could positively impact our business
  • Effectively and dynamically switch between individual brands within Incubation Seed Brands, capturing distinct style guidelines and tone of voice and driving priority brands to successful outcomes (Single Malts, St Germain, Santa Teresa, Angel’s Envy, Teeling)
  • Build partnerships across organizational, departmental and geographical boundaries to effectively stay connected to digital transformation journey and shared best practices
  • Champion digital transformation across Incubation brands and raise the profile of Incubation brands’ digital activity within the business

Skills and Experience

The Skills & Experience needed to create your legacy
  • Experience of social media management for a global brand or brands, in house or agency; Ideal candidate also has experience in brand management and spirits / beverage / luxury industry (at a globally relevant brand)
  • Experience in creating high-quality digital assets from scratch including photography, graphic design and moving image; ideally including food & beverage experience (for content production role)
  • Proven track record of creating and efficiently delivering against a strategy with results
  • In depth understanding of social media ecosystem and consumer touchpoints, including experience using management tools such as Talkwalker, Hootsuite, etc.
  • Creative flair with the ability to think beyond a brief
  • Experienced in planning and creating best in class social content
  • Flawless copywriting with the ability to capture multiple brands’ tone of voice
  • Strong project management with a balance of creative and organization skills
  • Entrepreneurial and scrappy mindset with proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with smaller budgets
  • Experience in managing a range of relationships (internal stakeholders up, down and across the organizational matrix)
  • An outstanding communicator, both orally and visually
  • Ideal candidate will also have knowledge of ecommerce via social platforms and experience of social paid media activation, with knowledge of best practice formats
