About the role

YOUR OPPORTUNITY
This is a critical role supporting the continued growth of the headquarters of the Bacardi UK Operations Centre (UK OC) at Westthorn. The Spirit Supply Systems Analyst will assist the Maturation and Blending Manager in the overall efficiency and accuracy of the bulk inventory systems across DRAMS and SAP, including:
  • Relentless focus on reduction of IDOCs and requirement for manual intervention
  • Develop training packages for all operational activities within inventory systems
  • Provide technical guidance to investigate any system anomalies identified at stock takes or cycle counts
  • Point of escalation for DRAMS and SAP compliance 
  • Promote and cascade the philosophy of right first time in the systems processing, focus on accuracy and compliance 
  • Freedom to challenge the current status quo on ways of working to ensure the systems are robust and future proof

Responsibilities

WITH OUR CONSUMER AT THE HEART YOUR KEY FOCUS WILL BE
  • Strategic focus on the volume of IDOCs generated within the bulk systems across Westthorn, Poniel and key 3rd party SAP sites
  • Responsible for the development and collation of tracker on IDOCS to identify repeat issues and trends
  • Responsible for the long-term strategic solution to these repeat issues, capable of indepth explanation to all levels of the business on the how and the why of each scenario
  • Development of new ways of working, creation or amendment of SOPs followed by robust training delivered
  • Influential in driving business cases for any system development/enhancements required to support the elimination of IDOCs 
  • Comfortable and confident with data analysis to compare data files that import/export across two systems
  • Detail orientated to be able to identify data trends and deviations from norm
  • Robust knowledge of the physical operational steps to be able to link to the systematic processing steps and identify opportunities to streamline for more effective and accurate real time processing
  • Key stakeholder relationship with Trapeze and Accenture to resolve problems within SAP and DRAMS
  • Coordinate resolution for any systems problems and provide assistance across operational teams to root cause and implement solutions.
  • Be the go-to for knowledge in processing within SAP and DRAMS.
  • Able to interrogate the systems and document findings in a summary format to share with the key stakeholders
  • Provide technical guidance on steps to correct incidents and errors that take place within these bulk inventory systems
  • Be fearless in the pursuit of IT enhancements that can support a robust processing real time that eliminates the need for in depth understanding across multiple ERP platforms.
  • Development and utilisation of the test systems for both bulk platforms to drive robust training sessions and implementation of user guides for all operational functions.
  • Self-driven motivated individual that can lead a project and ensure deliverables are meet and maintainable after conclusion of project

IDOC stands for intermediate document.
It is a standard data structure used in SAP application to transfer data to and from external systems or other SAP system applications.

  • ERP systems knowledge, preferably SAP, DRAMS and EMCS
  • Project Management skills 
  • Knowledgeable in the spirit handling processes required to complete transactions 
  • Competent user and trainer for IT systems
  • Continuous Improvement: Able to suggest new ideas to improve performance and deliver against targets
  • Detailed focused with attention to detail
  • Adaptive to learning methods and able to quickly utilise new skills
