About the role

YOUR OPPORTUNITY

The  OTC  Collections   Sr. Analyst, reports directly to the OTC Supervisor in support of its mission to leverage  resources on a global scale using shared services to reduce costs, maintain or increase customer service, and build new capabilities. Responsibilities include the delivery of best-in-class OTC processes  in accordance with negotiated Service Level Agreements. This role has contact with many areas of the organization, allowing  to have knowledge  not only of the collection  process, but also with the area of customer service, pricing, taxes, collection, and commercial finance, it is a unique  role within the OTC organization, it is an excellent opportunity to make yourself known and be able to contribute in the  BEST10.

Responsibilities

WITH OUR CONSUMER AT THE HEART YOUR KEY FOCUS WILL BE
  • Execute the collections process cycle (customer contact, escalations, legal referrals, analysis and resolution of customers residuals, deductions, claims, and order release analysis) to accelerate  cash collections, and reduce DSO and overdue percentage.
  • Analysis of the generated data to determine a collection strategy (collection forecast, overdue projected}.
  • Complete monthly tasks such as SOX controls, reports and information delivered to key stake holders.
  • Be a problem solver of issues reported  by customers  and key stakeholders.
  • Keep track and provide visibility of trends that produces issues of collectability (Disputes, Rebates deductions, returns, etc.).
  • Lead regular touchpoint with key stakeholders  (Commercial team, local finance, Customer Service and Logistics) to share results, challenges  and require support.
  • Consistently propose, meet, or exceed Service Level Agreements.
  • Coordination with the Cash Apps team to make sure accounts are reconciled and payments are applied accordingly.
  • Analysis and coordination the payment runs for the corresponding commercial agreements and review the master data for vendor accounts.

Skills and Experience

THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE  NEEDED TO CREATE YOUR LEGACY
  • Minimum of 3-year professional collections experience (with different countries around the world and different cultures)
  • Knowledge of the process of commercial agreements and accounts payable.
  • Experience communicating directly with senior leadership, including managing issue resolution at high levels in the organization.
  • Experience in Shared Services environment with a background   in  Finance
  • Knowledge and experience with SAP (transactions: FBL5N, FBL1N, FBL3N...), and Microsoft Office Advanced Tools (Excel, Power Point, Outlook, One note, Teams...)
  • Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving  skills
  • Ability  to prioritize tasks and manage his/her time efficiently.
  • Languages: Spanish, Portuguese, and English Intermediate - Advanced.
