About the role

Your Opportunity

Working in close collaboration with the US Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations and Project teams you will play a critical role in launching new products across the brand portfolio. You’ll do this by leading demand and supply planning activities on the launch projects and assigned brands. With our Consumer at the heart, your key focus will be to:
  • Act as the planning lead and single point of contact relating to supply chain for BUSA’s innovation launches
  • Manage the demand planning process for innovation and assigned brands as well as the supply plan for selected brands within the portfolio 
  • Own and conduct the monthly S&OP process for the assigned brands, involving the key internal stakeholders
  • Be the Supply Chain project team member for innovation projects, cooperating closely with the innovation team with the aim of reducing supply chain complexity, and increasing supply reliability and flexibility
  • Create and propose product allocations for initial pipeline fill following product launches or when supply is constrained
  • Ensure contracted purchase plans for selected brands are communicated and executed monthly
  • Engage with Marketing, Commercial and customers to continuously update requirements and improve the planning process
  • Identify and facilitate resolution with Commercial and brand teams when forecast exceptions and risks to achieving plan occur 

Skills and Experience

The Skills & Experience needed to create your legacy
  • Demonstrated ability to use analytical and statistical models to analyse demand and prepare forecasts in SAP APO or other advanced planning tool
  • Undergraduate degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field; MBA a plus
  • 3-5 years forecasting / demand planning experience in Food & Consumer Packaged Goods industry
  • Proven time management and multiple task management capabilities 
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) for communication across global and cross-functional teams. Must communicate “up” effectively to the Director/VP levels
