About the role

YOUR OPPORTUNITY

As the Sr Manager Advanced Analytics, you will actively lead and expand our analytics platform, drive, and standardize key routines, and deliver insights and analytics across the U.S. organization. You will lead business processes by driving their transparency and coordination across various stakeholders and departments.  In addition, a pivotal responsibility will be to devise and develop standardized approaches to advanced analytics, customer engagement and performance reviews across the organization. Finally, the Sr. Manager, Advanced Analytics is considered an important resource for both the Bacardi Commercial Leadership Team and the overall hub executive team.

ABOUT YOU

Ideal candidates for this role have a strong analytics background, commercial exposure, financial and pricing knowledge.  Being extremely comfortable navigating & transforming large data sets into insights is a must.  The ability to influence, partner, and lead across all levels, internal and external, while being agile to drive value and results, is critical.

Responsibilities

WITH OUR CONSUMER AT THE HEART YOUR KEY FOCUS WILL BE
  • Lead supporter of the DART and the advancing analytics agenda
  • Coach, mentor and develop a team of two senior analysts
  • Guide the organization on adopting a balanced data driven and intuitive decision model
  • Propel the organization into the predictive and prescriptive advanced analytics space
  • Build the capability framework for advanced analytics functional skillsets, to embed across the organization
  • Act as the centralized resource for analytics and ad-hoc based projects across the U.S. organization
  • Provide leadership and data driven insights through key business routines
  • Help drive the development of standardized tools and reports across functions
  • Guidance and oversight of commercial based analytics efforts
  • Continued collaboration with CBUs, Customer Marketing, Operations and Finance colleagues 
  • Own and manage significant workstreams and efforts critical to Bacardi USA
  • Provide ad hoc analytical support for key business initiatives at ALT/GLT and functional level
  • Support team on internal and external transformation initiatives
  • Aid on Developing unique and novel tools, scorecards, reports, etc. to complement existing reporting solutions
  • Conducts statistical analysis on data and information to ensure correct predictive forecasting and optimization
  • Apply Advanced Analytics techniques to improve commercial routines and processes
  • Instruct on research design and appropriate data collection for experiments, process the results and advise on the strengths and limitations of results
  • Ability to look, analyze, critically think, and communicate insights to support data-driven decisions

Skills and Experience

THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED TO CREATE YOUR LEGACY
  • 5-7 years strong Analytical background, technical skills, data savvy, ability to execute strategies in market appropriately
  • Healthy internal & external working relationships 
  • Expert in modelling and understanding large and complex data sets into useful information and insights
  • Excellent judgment and ability to manage details yet see the bigger picture to ensure solutions alignment.
  • Ability to understand and influence decision making, especially commercial decisions
  • Thought Leadership, Partnership, & Value Creation Mindset Mentality
  • Ability to balance sense of urgency / timeliness with data/facts, but able to drive to timely decisions efficiently
  • Strong Communication Skills - written, verbal, presentation
  • Ability to work effectively across functions and organizational levels to achieve desired goals 
  • Experience required in machine learning, SQL, Python, and data modeling
