About the role

Your Opportunity

Your ability to operate and orchestrate seamlessly within the matrix will be critical for your success in this role and of the function.

This role requires interactions across many functions (Finance & Non-Finance) as a resource to the international markets and service centre employees.  As a key enabling position in the service centre, a customer service mindset is essential.  The desired candidate will deal with confidential and sensitive data and must ensure conformity with policies, procedures, and regulations of Bacardi and external government agencies.

Responsibilities

With our Consumer at the heart, your key focus will be to:
  • Be an outstanding leader of a team that will propose and lead process simplification, automation, and innovation, and ensure successful implementation.
  • Foster an Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement Culture within BES through Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies.
  • Provide the insights and analysis to maximize resources, performance, and efficiency through analysis (KPIs, SLAs) and support data quality and compliance.
  • Become a POC for Operational Excellence in BES entities and collaborate with area leaders to generate efficiencies. 
  • Keep up to date with industry standards, new technology for BES processes.
  • Assist the Operational Excellence manager to prioritize work requests and assign resources accordingly.
  • Project Management, Project Coaching and Education of Six Sigma tools and methodologies.
  • Develop, lead, coach team members to develop a well-rounded skillset, which be the foundation for advancing at Bacardi
  • Provides timely and regular status reporting to management and project stakeholders for the team improvement initiatives.
  • Support and manage critical relationships with stakeholders from the initial phase of the project to its execution.
  • Provide consistent, effective, and open communication, both verbal and written

Skills and Experience

The Skills & Experience needed to create your legacy
  • University degree in Business/Industrial Engineering or related discipline
  • 4+ years experience in Operational Excellence roles required
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification is required
  • Experience in Project Management and Project coaching is required
  • Excel and VBA Knowledge is required 
  • KPI, Productivity and Metrics Management is required

  • Detail oriented with the ability to capture information in a clear, concise manner and can adapt information for various audiences. 
  • Proactive lead that can collaborate and build effective relationships across all levels of the organization.

  • Proven ability to lead and influence others, and strong critical thinking skills are key to success in this position.
  • Manages complex, strategic cross-functional projects, delivering operational excellence across the global organization
