About the role


You will have the opportunity to execute and drive the Supply Chain Financial Performance of the business and ultimately responsible for driving financial analysis and using its insights to contribute to the decision-making process


This position will be working within a high performing team and taking full ownership for the Supply Chain- Finance activities across all the brand categories for SOCO. 


  • Assisting with development and financial analysis of the internal business plan (IBP), budget and trends of the supply chain in line with the strategy.
  • Play an active role in local market and supply chain decisions regarding Budget controlling of freight, custom duties, warehousing, obsolete, slow moving, write offs and other logistic costs.
  • Assure invoice provision, Monthly POs controlling.
  • Request for advance payments and control supplier account.
  • Leader quarterly inventory audit at Bacardí markets.
  • Producing monthly reporting of activity in a timely manner, respecting the deadlines, ensure data quality, and communicate effectively.
  • Analysing the gaps, check data consistency, challenge results, identify risks / opportunities and propose corrective actions needed to keep budget’s targets.
  • Following up on the financial impact of key initiatives / projects and evaluate the results.
  • Ensuring compliance with management, accounting, taxes standards.
  • Helping to identify opportunities to optimize costs and performance.
  • Participating in building business plans of global / local Supply Chain projects and contributing to the implementation of the end-to-end strategy.
  • Conduct economic and financial feasibility analysis for investment projects, initially focusing on: Logistics Network, Warehouse, Indirect Purchasing Process.
  • Ensure the participation of finance within the innovation process (new products or importation), bringing visibility on pre and post launch (joint analysis with the Marketing, Purchasing and Commercial Finance Teams)

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor/Master’s degree in economics, accounting, business administration or equivalent
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant Supply Chain, FP&A and Controlling experience, preferably from within FMCG / Retail / MNCs
  • Proven Supply Chain, FP&A and Controlling across brands/Categories is a must
  • High proficiency in SAP, Excel, and other business applications
  • Language: Spanish and English, both verbal as well as in writing
  • Independent, self-starting and interested in what is behind the numbers
  • Analytical, with problem-solving and pragmatic skills.
  • Able to communicate effectively with site management and others on site
  • Strong team player with good interpersonal skills
  • High level of customer orientation, strategic orientation, results orientation, change management, ownership, and collaboration
  • Able to build effective relationships across all levels of the organization and manage changes.
