About the role

What does a Supply Chain Innovation Planner do?
  • Responsible for overseeing all supply chain activities related to new product introduction to ensure a successful launch on time/in full.
  • Working closely with the regional innovation team and with Project Leads at Plant to ensure that products launching in market are within UK supply & labelling guidelines and that launch dates in market are met. Working cross functionally with many departments across the organisation including SC, Finance, Procurement, Marketing, CPA, Global TRN and PLs.
  • Management of local co-packing schedules with various 3PLs to ensure local initiatives/activations and shippers are delivered on time including planning of materials.
  • Responsible for portfolio and SKU complexity for the market(s) in scope; working closely with the regional team on rationalisation of the portfolio & reducing SKU complexity.
  • Responsible for checking all product artwork to ensure UK compliant and legal to supply to customers.

Responsibilities

With our Consumer at the heart, your key focus will be to:
  • Drive Supply Chain alignment & communication to deliver successful launch of new product initiatives & an effective portfolio 
  • Key Link between Innovation Team, CPA, Brand Teams, Commercial & Supply Chain 
  • Drive Continuous Improvement within Supply Chain Innovation – including scenario planning & post launch reviews 
  • Plan & co-ordinate local rework activities with 3PLs – including shipper/display activations & plan materials 
  • TRN Responsibility for sign off for all market labelling for bottles & cases via Sunrise 
  • Work closely with E-Commerce to deliver product exclusives & fearless bets within channel 
  • Digital Projects – Represent Supply Chain as part of Digital Front Line

Skills and Experience

  • Experience within Supply Chain (Master Data, Customer Service, Logistics)
  • Experience of Planning (Demand/Supply) and using ECC / APO
  • Knowledge of SAP / MS Office / Teams
  • Project Planning, Time Management, Problem Solving, Analytical Skills & Attention to detail
  • Experience of Spirits industry, Brands, categories, legalities & customers an advantage
