About the role

The role has responsibility for the Supply Chain function in Poland, supporting the team based in Warsaw and reporting to the Supply Chain Director for Eastern Europe.

Key accountabilities and responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive product (Finished goods, Value Added Pack and POS) supply strategic plan designed to support country growth 
  • Own the Sales and Operations Planning process to ensure business KPIs are met 
  • Establish policies, procedures, performance metrics, and resource requirements to ensure reliability, speed, convenience and best value to customers 
  • Respect the regulations associated with the Supply Chain activities (customs duty, excise, VAT, Strip Stamps etc)  
  • Ensure that logistic service/warehouse providers adhere to agreed standards and KPIs; conduct performance reviews and mitigate risks
  • Manage the Demand and Supply Planning processes to ensure product availability   
  • Identify and execute the balance between customer requirements, inventory optimisation, manufacturing efficiencies, including capacity planning, SKU rationalization, planning and execution 
  • Establish and maintain effective cooperation with key stakeholders 
  • Share best practice and cooperate closely with Supply Chain teams across Eastern Europe
  • Develop team by ensuring core functional competencies are met, conducting regular Let’s Talk sessions and performance reviews, coaching to ensure successor is identified  

Measures of success

  • Operational Excellence: OTIF, distribution costs ($x per 9L case), Sales Forecast Accuracy, TISP 
  • Stock Levels and DIOH (Days inventory on hand)  
  • Costs in line with budget  
  • Competent team in place, successor nominated
  • High stakeholder satisfaction based on regular feedback 

Critical experiences for success

  • Minimum 8 years total experience in Supply Chain 
  • Experience in other departments such as Sales or Finance are most welcome
  • Minimum 3 year experience in successful management of direct reports through building high performance teams  
  • Fluent English and Polish language skills
  • High learning agility, adaptability and track record of exceptional results
  • Results oriented change agent with analytical skills
  • Determination to succeed in a new environment whilst building sustainable relations with own team and customers
