About the role

What does a Supply Chain Project Manager do?

The UKOC Supply Chain has a select number of preidentified key projects, primarily in Logistics to execute.

The Supply Chain Project Manager will be responsible for the E2E process of delivering these projects – From
the Feasibility, Analysis, Planning, Execution and Implementation.

Responsibilities

With our Consumer at the heart, your key focus will be to:
  • Deliver a select number of pre identified projects focused predominantly on Storage & Transport with potential for some additional smaller projects
  • Outline Project Scope and Timeline Milestones , ensuring business requirements are captured accurately and completely
  • Feasibility - Assess various options and carry out analysis to assess feasibility, capacity & cost benefits of each
  • Present findings to Senior Team to secure quick decisions that allow moving to execution phase in a short timeframe
  • Create Project Execution Plan – Including Workstream Actions Plan and Project Timeline Plan
  • Develop, communicate and follow up on action items and deliverables through to project completion – own project momentum and maintain on track progress
  • Work closely with key internal stakeholders to align plan and collaboratively work together to deliver on time
  • Source, select and work closely with external partners and align plan together to collaboratively work together to deliver on time
  • Ensure strong cross function communication, including influencing and negotiating to drive project results
  • Regularly communicate with key project sponsors on progress and seek support for swift decision making where required
  • Manage End To End Project Execution - Ensure Project Closure, including Delivery of Projects On Time and completion to assessment that business requirements have been addressed & resolved

Skills and Experience

The Skills & Experience needed to create your legacy
  • 5years + Supply Chain Experience in an FMCG environment with strong focus on warehousing & logistics
  • Food and Drink background preferable
  • Project Management Experience is desirable but experience and a proven track record of implementing projects and delivering results at speed more critical
  • Highly Organized with Strong Planning and Execution Skills
  • Analytical with exceptional attention to detail
  • A strong negotiator with a cost conscious mind
  • A first class communicator with the ability to communicate and influence at all levels
  • Ability to sell ideas, influence stakeholders and partner with them to deliver successful project completion
  • Knowledge of Business System and Standard Microsoft Systems
  • A passion and flair for Process Improvement
