  • Operational Excellence - Drive sustained improvement in Market Supply Chain & Achieve targets: Distribution Cost ($/ 9L case) / Sales Forecast Accuracy – TISP, BIAS / Optimized Inventory Level in DIOH/ Compliance I.e., Sox 


  • The role acts as the SPOC for the Southern Cone markets of Argentina, Uruguay, Chile, Peru, Paraguay and Bolivia.   You will be the Supply Chain business partner to the Managing Director and will join the local leadership team. You will ensure strong supply chain representation and collaboration for all key business decisions. Your role will ensure the execution of the Market strategy in alignment with Regional Supply Chain principles & WoW. 

  • Generate an environment of contribution and debate in the market and between functions while managing key internal & external stakeholders. This is primary driver and challenge of the role.

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive product supply plan designed to support market growth and in line with regional guidelines.

  • Communicate proactively and regularly with key stakeholders to mitigate risk and capture opportunities.  Create a culture of clear, succinct, and anticipative communication.
  • Own the Sales & Operations Planning process to ensure the business (Marketing, Sales, Finance, Ops) achieves monthly consensus and the business KPIs are met 

  • Ensure Demand and Supply Planning processes in place and are monitored to drive efficient and timely distribution of products to the market

  • Resolve short to medium term supply constraints (i.e., quality, technical) to deliver as agreed

  • Identify and execute the balance between customer requirements, inventory optimization, manufacturing efficiencies, including capacity planning, SKU rationalization, planning and execution

  • Visualize the total process and aid in locating problem areas using process mapping, quality improvement, and visualization tools to attack root causes.  Perform periodic evaluations to maintain and improve processes.
  • Scrutinize market conditions & competitors to maintain an updated benchmarking assessment

  • Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure an effective Innovation process in the market with the aim of reducing supply chain complexity, increase supply reliability and agility.  Lead key innovation projects for Supply Chain in the market. 

  • Deliver marked improvement on critical KPIs including forecast accuracy, optimized working capital, logistics costs and S&OP maturity to drive efficiency in the extended Supply Chain

  • Reduce or mitigate carbon output from transporting materials or products to final customers. 

  • Drive customer collaboration to improve performance & service to ensure On-Shelf availability.

  • Own the Southern Cone Distribution budget and ensure a proactive approach to challenges and opportunities; Deliver a pipeline of cost related projects to beat inflation over time; Lead process to monitor and mitigate write-offs

  • Ensure logistics providers adhere to agreed standards & KPIs; conduct provider performance reviews and focus on risk mitigation.  

  • Respect regulations associated with Supply Chain activities (Customs, Excise, Strip Stamps etc.). Establish policies, procedures, performance metrics, and resource requirements to ensure reliability, speed, convenience, and best value to customers.

Skills and Experience

  • 8+ years’ experience in Supply Chain. Knowledge across Operations, S&OP, Demand Planning, Customer Service, and Logistics will be recognized.

  • Your experience should have been gained in FMCG environment (add ’l experience in high tech, pharma or automotive etc. is also valuable)

  • You have driven and managed change in a distribution or industrial supply chain organization where knowledge of international trading practices and global tax principles are vital to success.

  • Demonstrated SAP advanced knowledge, analytical, collaborative problem solving & negotiation skills.

  • You have led direct, matrix, cross functional teams. You have managed 3rd parties with a track record of continuous improvement in service & cost.

  • You are results oriented, have a bias for action and are determined to succeed in a new environment.

  • You have strong oral & written communication skills, Fluent in English with Spanish an advantage
