About the role

Your Opportunity

Working in a dynamic environment as part of the Bacardi Supply Chain Team. Using your analytical skills to deliver accurate reporting and KPI dashboards related to Bacardi’s logistics activities. Strong collaboration with the other Supply Chain functions, and frequent engagement with Bacardi’s transportation providers. Utilizing your strong systems knowledge to provide end-to-end visibility of the movement of Bacardi’s goods through the supply chain.

With our Consumer at the heart, your key focus will be to:
  • Having a clear understanding of the domestic and international transportation flows in place to support the North American business 
  • Developing tactical relationships with Bacardi’s 3PL domestic and ocean transportation providers with the aim of resolving shipment disruptions and ensuring on-time delivery to customers; utilize their proprietary systems that provide status updates
  • Strong collaboration with Planning, Customer Service and warehousing teams, to ensure a proactive customer-focused approach to sales order and replenishment shipments
  • Ownership of selected logistics reports and KPIs, ensuring they are published as per the weekly/monthly cadence; strong Excel and analytical skills is essential
  • Collaboration with Ryder, maintain and update lane set-up, pricing and surcharges in Bacardi’s SAP system, participate in the annual RFP process to select new carriers for the fiscal year
  • Coordination with the Global Transportation team regarding air freight shipments, master data, local market needs
  • Managing the quotation and selection process for carriers that ship to LATAM markets from Bacardi’s Jacksonville facilities
  • Performing monthly reviews and testing of assigned SAP transactions for SOX purposes
  • Supporting Monthly Operations/Supply Chain KPI deck creation
  • Initiating required actions for responses to customer service requests for order changes, including the maintenance of order/customer information files and communicates changes to the appropriate personnel/departments.

Skills and Experience

The Skills & Experience needed to create your legacy
  • 5+ years’ experience in a logistics role. 
  • Experienced with SAP, Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills, and can use technology to effectively drive decision making 
  • Undergraduate degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field
  • Demonstrated use of analytical, collaborative problem solving and negotiation skills.
  • Proven time management and multiple task management capabilities 
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) for communication across global and cross-functional teams. Must communicate “up” effectively to the Manager, Director level
