About the role

Your Opportunity

Responsible for resolving issues to balance supply and demand, scheduling purchase orders and assisting in the preparation of the monthly S&OP meetings. Creates, develops, produces and collects demand forecasts. Interacts and communicates with our external business partner, sales, marketing, finance, supply planning and other departments - as appropriate - to obtain current and accurate information. 

This position works to analyze current business trends and demonstrates a higher level of technical expertise and understanding of the elements of the supply chain process, thus the information flow through the demand and supply planning process. 


With our Consumer at the heart, your key focus will be to:
  • Pro-actively manages demand & supply and proposes corrective actions when required.
  • Addresses any supply disruption or conflict situation through consensual solution or recommendation for escalation. Ensures agreed modifications are implemented. 
  • In collaboration with the Supply Chain Manager, regularly assesses and updates Markets and Plants safety stock policy and targets.
  • Assists in preparation of write off for obsolete/ damaged materials and finished products 
  • Assists in defining, validating and implementing sourcing changes for new products/customers.
  • Provides project feasibility pre approval recommendation for any new product launch or geographical extension.
  • Drives product switch for any design change ensuring on time launch and minimum write off.
  • Develops statistical demand forecasts utilizing computerized software tools such as SAP APO, etc. 
  • Controls SKU portfolio proliferation and ensure adherence to correct life cycle management process.
  • Monthly collaborates with the external business partner, marketing and sales in order to align demand forecasts.
  • Generates MPS for local production and imports finished goods. 
  • Evolves and maintains documentation and standard operating procedures for demand planning processes and systems. 
  • Conducts current and future forecasting analysis, insuring that forecasting processes and methods are followed. 
  • Participates in flow deployment and continuous improvement together with external business partner, plants and markets.

Skills and Experience

The Skills & Experience needed to create your legacy
  • 3+ years experience in Supply Chain. Your familiarity and knowledge across demand / supply planning / logistics will be well recognized. 
  • Multiple task management capabilities. 
  • Strong communication skills for communication across global. 
  • Being detail oriented and extremely accurate. 
  • Excellent creative thinking skills with emphasis on developing innovative solutions to complex problems that may not have one clear answer.
  • Language Skills: Fluent Spanish & English; Portuguese is an advantage.

  • Advance excel skills.
