About the role

YOUR OPPORTUNITY
This is a unique opportunity to be part of our Supply Chain team and play an important role in the Caribbean and Central America (CARICAM) organization. You will be responsible for the supply and inventory management at our warehouse. You will be responsible for implementing and optimizing supply planning using SAP and for the correct configuration of replenishment flows for the region. You are the key point of contact for our global production network for replenishment forecasting, order creation and prioritization for CARICAM.

MEASURES OF SUCCESS 
➢ Operational Excellence - Drive step change in supply planning, reduce manual work and be a leader to implement the technological tools available in Bacardí. 
➢ Right inventory according to the policy to ensure the right level of service for the region and optimal use of our working capital. 
➢ Drive portfolio optimization and be a guardian of our inventory health, work cross-functionally to ensure that all our inventory rotates, and develop action plans to deplete slow and no movers. 
➢ Support on time / in full innovation execution process

Responsibilities

Supply Planning 
1. Responsible for the Supply Planning process for our warehouse. 
2. Own inventory policy, inventory projection and ensure the right warehousing and logistic capacity to support the inventory and sales plan. 
3. Ensure proper communication channels and process with the production plants stakeholders to ensure supply execution. 
4. Provide visibility to the business on stock availability to support sales plans. 
5. Ensure correct FIFO management with 3PL, control inventory ageing and anticipate risks to develop action plans and mitigate any write off risk. 
6. Track and control inventory health (slow movers, no movers, product remaining from in and outs), work cross functionally to develop and track action plans to deplete not performing inventory and to optimize portfolio. 
7. Keep system and supply models updated with the latest information of transit time, allocations, sourcing, etc. 
8. Implement and maintain system planning to ensure that the region is sending the right replenishment signal to production sites. 
Strategy 
1. Provide long term visibility of inventory levels and operational needs and collaborate in the definition of the 3PL strategy. 
2. Collaborate cross functionally to define and implement Distribution Cost efficiency projects. 
3. Collaborate with sales and demand planning to understand customers’ data to plan and implement supply chain optimization projects to increase delivery efficiency.
New Products Introduction 
1. Plan new product introduction with the anticipation needed to guarantee availability in the market in the right time. 
2. System setup: ensure that the items are created or extended in the system to start showing a replenishment forecast with the anticipation needed and ensure that the product can be ordered. 
3. Maintain the products portfolio list, including dimensions, special specifications, lifecycle information and communicate regularly with stakeholders. 
4. Ensure that the portfolio is aligned with the region strategy.

Skills and Experience

SKILLS - THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED TO CREATE YOUR LEGACY
• You have 4+ years’ experience in supply planning. 
• Preferable global volume consumer goods but you may well have experience in other industries. 
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Administration, Business, Logistics or equivalent • Language skills: Fluent English & Spanish 
• Strong analytical skills. 
• Proficient in Excel and working knowledge on SAP. 
• Experience in international logistics and knowledge on international commerce. 
• Ability to find effective ways of working within a matrix organization, and within a fast-changing environment. 
• Strong communication and influence skills 
• Willingness to work collaboratively with teams across different geographies and cultures. 
• Experience managing a team is desirable.
