About the role
- You will have extensive experience in both manufacturing and planning & logistics
- You will have the ability to interface with internal and external customers, along with a deep understanding and track record of delivering continued performance and process improvement throughout the entire value chain
- You will lead Supply Chain for our premium Tequila products, with the support of more than 2,500 dedicated Prim@s, and our external manufacturing partners
- You will engage, inspire and motivate a diverse population of Prim@s across the facilities, driving strategic initiatives and delivering an ambitions growth plan for our Tequila business.
- You will have an exemplary track record in international operations where in-depth knowledge of production, distillation, planning, warehousing and logistics has been gained in sectors such as Beverages, FMCG, high tech, pharmaceuticals or organisations recognised for their manufacturing and supply chain functional excellence. Has driven and managed complex change programmes and ambitions expansion plans.
- Will demonstrate strong ability and experience in developing and managing budgets.
- Strong understanding and track record in driving Lean and Continuous Improvement Programmes
- You will have managed matrix working seamlessly and been recognised as the face of Supply Chain and as someone who can get things done, resolve issues effectively, timely and sustainably.
Responsibilities
- Lead Tequila Supply operations to obtain expected performance standards.
- Lead a core management team that includes direct reports in Supply Planning, Distilling and Liquid Processing, Bottling, Contract Manufacturing, Engineering, & Continuous Improvement as well as functional leaders from Human Resources, SQS, & Finance ensuring they are developed as you champion and foster a sense of Belonging.
- Develop and implement a vision for the sites that reflect our evolving business context, employs world class manufacturing techniques, and supports Bacardi sustainability goals.
- Deployment of Bacardi Operating System to align people to business objectives and empower them to deliver superior business results.
- Ensure that all supply operations are executed and managed within Health, Safety, Regulatory, Sustainability and Customs & Excise regulations and legislation for every primo, contractor, & visitor on the sites.
- Responsible and accountable for developing budgets and budgeting processes for the sites. Operate within agreed budgets, efficiency, sustainability, and quality parameters.
- Direct industrial planning (RM, Dry Goods, Liquid planning, FG Planning, Warehouse management) to ensure high levels of order fulfilment rates, efficient manufacturing operations, and optimized levels of working capital.
- Plan and allocate resources effectively for the planning and operation of complex liquid processing systems, distillation, bottling lines, contract manufacturing, & raw material/ dry good/ FG warehouse activity.
- Ensure that Supply strategy/objectives reflect broader Supply Chain and Bacardi strategy. Ensure effective KPI tracking reporting process.
- Collaborate with peers for all local functions and activities in alignment with regional & global strategies and programs such as Good Spirited and Great Place to Work.
- Identify Capex needs to ensure ambitious growth plans are met on time and within budgetary and efficiency constraints and targets.
- Drive progress on ESG (Good Spirited) KPIs including reducing GHG emissions, reducing water consumption, and achieving zero waste to landfill.
- Support ESG initiatives on the site through local programming on topics such as water replenishment, biodiversity, and climate.
- Plan effective maintenance programs that minimize losses and deliver reliable & predictable operations.
- Develop and maintain Business Continuity Program
- Represent company with local authorities, community, and at the local external industry and customer forums and ensure compliance with the relevant local regulations, identify new legislations.
Skills and Experience
- Minimum experience of 4 years as General Manager or similar executive role.
- Outstanding decision making and leadership skills
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and delegation skills.
- Strong knowledge of operational process.
- Proven ability to develop and achieve financial plans.
- Team Leader & Effective Communicator.
- Efficient adaptation to change, with great innovation and results oriented.
- Being able to resolve conflicts, negotiate, analyse problems, and make decisions.
