About the role


As the MDE you will own the responsibilty for the development, execution and perfomance of all programs designed to increase presence and ultimate take-away and being responsible for management and monitoring of initiatives & execution through our Distributors. You would also be responsible for contribution to the Company’s goals and objectives and improve market share, customer satisfaction and productivity performance by establishing channel strategies and implementing the associated plans.

  • Build/maintain/strengthen relationship with key on trade accounts, Wholesalers, and distributor.
  • Liaison with the distributor sales team to focus on our portfolio - by driving engagement, thereby achieving: 
  • Improve visibility of the Bacardi portfolio at the Point of Purchase (POP) across all assigned outlets and channels
  • To co-ordinate & influence merchandising and Point of Sale Material (POSM) for the generic portfolio as well as special promotions through the Distributor
  • To Influence & monitor various consumer promotions 
  • Monitor promotions / events with accounts and dist. Reps.
  • Inputs on Partnership contracts which Generate volume through pouring contracts.
  • Support implementation of Business IT tools across the Bacardi Martini portfolio across all channels through our Distributors
  • Communication of competitor activities & reporting of trends in the market to facilitate feed back to the Head office
  • You will be based in Market. However, large percentage of your time will be spent interacting with the local market and 3rd Party distributors across Market. As a result, you can expect to be travelling to stay connected to all stakeholder
