Critically to this role is acting as an entrepreneur in a complex, competitive and challenging environment via pioneering activities which will drive joint growth – for us and our customers. You are encouraged to operate with freedom and creativity to work in partnership with key retail accounts and build our joint business plans within Peru’s modern trade channel.

About you

We’re looking for an individual that loves a challenge, loves working in very close relationships with Customers and who wants to work in a Sales role in a really fast paced environment. You’ll be working across our Spirits, Sparkling Wine, Vermouth and RTD portfolio, where Bacardi is one of the biggest players in the market. And you’ll take ownership for some of our biggest Retail customers.


With our Consumer at the heart, your key focus will be to:
  • Develop Traditional Trade execution, sales and market share by working side by side with our local partner sales force
  • Manage the relationship with key traditional trade customers Nationwide, with special focus to Modern Lima.
  • Be the single contact point for the traditional trade sales force, leading the communication with managers and supervisors of the local partner.
  • Deploy best practices and knowledge of our brands to the sales force nationwide.
  • Deliver on key business targets (NSV, Gross Margin, Profitability, ROI, Value Share)
  • Deliver on Pictures of Success (PoS) targets in partnership with customers to deliver excellence in execution.
  • Understand customer strategy and how to leverage the Bacardi value proposition to grow mutual business
  • Drive, agree, and execute customer Joint Business Plans that deliver “win-win” value to Bacardi and customers
  • You will be accountable for the effective implementation of our commercial strategy and POS development.
  • Optimize promotional plans through the year through implementation of the ROI strategy and goals.
  • Input into the shaping of the channel & portfolio’s market strategy.
  • Input into the market IAP process to ensure local channel and customer needs are captured.
  • Provide accurate demand forecasting to Supply Chain teams or to market Sales Performance and Planning team
  • Seek great execution on POS, assure replenishment and fill rate constant track.

Skills and Experience

The Skills & Experience needed to create your legacy
  • Essential: experience in managing Key Accounts/Customers in a FMCG company at national level for the traditional trade channel in Peru.
  • Proven success in independently negotiated commercial agreements on national level
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Working knowledge of sales effectiveness tools processes.
  • Demonstrable track record of performance in commercial negotiations.
  • Evidence of developing highly effective and sustainable trading terms while managing sales’ teams.
  • Positive mindset, solution oriented and passion for POS perfect execution and visual merchandising
