About the role

Your Opportunity

As a member of the Global Supply Chain and Global Finance leadership teams, you will be leading supply chain finance organisation with 100 professionals supporting sourcing, manufacturing and logistics teams managing $2B cost base worldwide. You will be responsible for stewarding long term strategy and investment choices, delivering benchmark performance, and meeting our financial and nonfinancial commitments. You will also be creating the legacy of Bacardi making key decisions that will significantly influence the strategic direction, effectiveness, and efficiency of the Finance Function globally.

You have proven leadership expertise in finance and supply chain areas – delivering results in dynamic environment through personal influence and building high performing teams. Someone strong in motivating, influencing, and applying effective changes to the organization across areas of industrial performance, customer service, procurement strategies, commodity risk management, logistics, and capital investments.


With our Consumer at the heart, your key focus will be to:

Drive results and excellence in execution:
  • Provide strong finance and commercial business partnership across all Global Supply Chain Functions (R&D, Supply Chain Planning, Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics, Safety Quality and Sustainability, etc…) maximising our efforts on winning in the marketplace
  • Set strategic direction and direct the Supply Chain finance organization to enhance industrial performance, customer service, procurement strategies, commodity risk management, logistics, innovation, business continuity, digitalization, sourcing, and capital investment areas
  • Provide financial/tax/accounting support and guidance to all Supply Chain functions globally ensuring compliance with the Company’s policies, procedures, and regional legislative requirements
  • Provide financial leadership on a $2bn cost base through Supply Chain Optimization, Working Capital management, External Spend Program (ESP), Value Creation and other cost efficiency programs
  • Coordinate and manage research and benchmarking activities, analyse the Global Supply Chain landscape on regular basis (macroeconomic, customers, competitors, regulatory requirements etc.) driving insights and action
  • Provide insights through management reports and dashboards for the Global Leadership Team (GLT) and Global Operations Leadership Team (GOLT) decision making process, ensuring accuracy and integrity of data
  • Lead the company’s Capital expenditure/investment process, communicating policy, ensuring governance, and setting timetable in accordance with the corporate objectives; Identify and assesses Global Operations capital investment projects managing capital expenditure plans against strategy and business growth requirements
Cost of Goods Sold stewardship:
  • Global Process owner for the Cost of Goods Sold setting global standards, procedures, and policies
  • Communicate to all stakeholders, including corporate, about changes in COGS and underlying drivers providing information on COGS from a matrix perspective for actual and planning cycles
  • Measure and explain performance of supply chain in respect to COGS ensuring finance makes a significant contribution in setting and achieving business goals
  • Put in place supply chain performance measures and drive consistency of reporting through all aspects of global Operations for actual and planning cycles
Develop talent and capability:
  • Develop and inspire supply chain finance organisation providing leadership, coaching, and mentoring for high performance team delivering outstanding organisational impact and results
  • Ensure implementation of learning and development plans and sustained learning for everyone in your team
  • Ensure that your teams have the resources and assets needed to deliver desired results
  • Build and foster a solid business partnership with various teams including relevant internal and external customers to understand business requirements and secure effective decision-making process

Skills and Experience

The Skills & Experience needed to create your legacy
  • Value based leadership style with strong bias for results including solid track record in leadership roles across Finance and Supply Chain areas in a Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) environment
  • Proven experience of leading large teams across multiple locations in matrix environment. Able to adapt, partner and influence multifunctional teams including senior leadership to achieve shared goals
  • Advanced digital skills in modern supply chain organization including automation, planning, networking and synchronisation tools build on our foundations of SAP, MS Office and other industry specific technology
  • Comprehensive knowledge of accounting standards, internal controls, risk management and regulatory environment
  • Metrics driven with strong Project Management experience to oversee multiple complex projects and ensure successful delivery (on time and within budget) while identifying and managing potential issues/risks
  • Sound understanding of systems, data, processes and communications for strong governance and decision-making by internal/external stakeholders
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a changing, fast paced environment
