About the role

JOB LOCATION: Geneva, but we are open to exploring the Netherlands

This pivotal role on the Supply Chain Leadership team will lead the transformation of the function to ensure delivery of the Bacardi BEST10 and Beyond strategy.

It’s all about Planning, Data, Analytics and Strategy, and how you get the function, systems, digitalization, processes and people to the next level. Deep diving into what we have today you need to put in place what we need to do for tomorrow.  Reviewing current systems, practices, and capabilities, you will be making immediate quick wins along with advising and setting us up for better and more efficient ways of working.  Getting insights from our data and ensuring these add value to the business is critical.  Step changing the long-term demand planning and S&OP process is equally essential, as is working with senior executives to align with our evolving Aged Liquids strategy.  

You have a team of professional experts that you must lead, direct, and provide vision to.  Your input and setting of the overarching Supply Chain strategy must be second to none and you need to inform the business of what capabilities, talent and technology will be needed and then put it in place. Communicating with and bringing along all key stakeholders is done daily as you break down silos and elevate the internal and external view of Bacardi Supply Chain.


You always take a market driven approach in everything Supply Chain does.  You have wide experience across most Plan horizons, Supply and Demand.  You have held senior roles that owned S&OP.  You will have met resistance but been able to influence and convince others to allow transformation changes in the Supply Chain. The success and improvement delivered is evident.  A systems and process expert, you are the one people come to for knowledge and advice, you are the credible Supply Chain systems and data person. You can manage and navigate internal relationships.  You are the best communicator and relationship builder with your internal customers. You plan, report, and execute brilliantly.  You lead, develop and support your teams.  You make things more agile and more effective.


  • Take ownership and leadership for the Bacardi Supply Chain Long-term Demand Planning and S&OP
  • You are the executive sponsor for the choice, selection, implementation and effective use, and deployment of Supply Chain systems, solutions, and Data analytics deployment in the regions.
  • Transform Supply Chain to be completely “Market Driven”.   Build and maintain genuine relationships and understanding with business stakeholders and revolutionize how we communicate (2 ways) with them.
  • Input to and set the Supply Chain strategy.
  • Give meaningful and required data insights to the business, making our systems do the work and driving efficiencies, agility and performance improvement internally and with our external suppliers. 
  • Deliver marked and sustainable improvements in Supply Chain and Business KPI’s.
  • Anticipate the future, instill a long-term demand planning / S&OP expertise within Bacardi Supply Chain.

Skills and Experience

  • Held various senior-level roles within FMCG or similar operating environments.
  • Long-term demand planning transformation delivery.
  • Widespread experience across most Plan horizons, Demand, Supply and been part of business leadership team S&OP. 
  • Understands Plan process and systems deeply (APO/Kinaxis/Aera).
  • Demonstrated transformations on leadership approach to plan (LTDP & S&OP), technology transformations (APO/Kinaxis/Aera).
  • Demonstrated people and process success.
  • Data and Analytics experience – the go-to person for knowledge, understanding and advice on Supply Chain Systems and Data Analytics.
  • You bring others along.
  • You inspire, lead and develop not just those who report to you but those around you.
