About the role

Your Opportunity

This role is part of the Financial Analysis Center of Excellence created in Bacardi Enterprise Services to support the business. 

This role will support the A&P Controller for WEUR on the analysis and insights generation related to Advertising and Promotion (A&P) cost. This is role in Finance to control level of A&P spending, including actuals and accruals.

This role requires interactions across different functions as a resource to the markets and BES. This role will regularly interact with several organizational levels, ranging from staff to the regional Senior Leadership team 

About You

The Prim@ in the role requires strong analytical skills, being able to transform big amounts of financial data into meaningful insights for market decision makers.

Great customer service and well-developed communication and presentation skills are required for this position's success. 

In this role you will be able to influence the decision-making process for the A&P spending to impact positively the business performance.


With our Consumer at the heart, your key focus will be to:
  • Build and foster a solid business partnership with the key internal customers 
  • Validate and improve the A&P tracker to understand variances versus plan/forecast and recommend actions to all stakeholders.
  • Analyse drivers for variances and partner with local and regional Primos to recommend ways to improve execution in the future.
  • Manage the A&P Costs budgeting process jointly with the A&P controller, cluster Finance and headquarters and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Ensure detailed budgets are deployed to cost owners to enable full accountability of spend.
  • Supporting update of the latest forecast (expected landing) for the full year
  • Support tracking savings plans and opportunities – reviewing with marketing teams to support choices.
  • Ad hoc financial analysis and projects for region or BES

  • Analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.  
  • Financial background, including knowledge of the Balance Sheet and P&L
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated team player - ability to build relationships and earn trust from all stakeholders.
  • Being able manage sensitive/confidential information with markets.
  • Experience on similar position (Cost Analyst, Financial Analyst for P&L) is an advantage.
  • Experience with the MS Office Suite (particularly MS Excel).  Ability to work with IT systems; experience with SAP and Purchase Ordering system.
  • US GAAP and SOX reporting experience is an advantage.
  • Proactive individual that can collaborate and build effective relationships across all levels of the organization, culturally sensitive and a strong communicator – able to interact effectively both with more senior Primos and peers
Personal Qualities
  • University degree in Accounting/Business/Finance or related discipline
  • Strengths in building trusting relationships and influencing stakeholders to provide the necessary inputs to create accurate insights for markets
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and change approaches as required
  • Advanced English (C1) – written and verbal including Business English command
