About the role

Your Opportunity

To supervise and lead the Warehouse FLT and Material Line Feed Operators to ensure that ALL warehousing activities are carried out in accordance with HMRC and H&S Guidelines.

Responsibilities

With our Consumer at the heart, your key focus will be to:
  • To supervise and support the receipt, handling and storage of Cased Goods/Dry Materials inventory within warehouse
  • To supervise and support the despatch of Cased Goods in accordance with Customer demand ensuring all Customer orders are despatched ‘On Time and in Full’ and securely
  • To supervise and support the Material Line Feed Operators to ensure no line stoppages
  • To ensure Warehouse FLT and Material Line Feed Operators use all equipment in a safe and proper manner in accordance with the Health & Safety regulations
  • To maintain ALL Warehouse SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)
  • To apply and maintain all Warehouse operations to ensure high level of stock accuracy
  • To supervise and support annual physical stock count
  • To fully support the Planning and Logistics team with other ad-hoc duties as and when required
  • Ensure pre-shift checks are fully completed on all FLT equipment prior to the use and maintain record for auditing purposes
  • Ensure that all Finished Goods received from manufacturing are processed correctly in SAP (HUMO, 7100)
  • Following production organise the removal and storage of all inventory within Cased Goods warehouse
  • Process in SAP all FG received from 3PL storage locations
  • Carry out the daily ‘Sarbanes Oxley’ (cycle counting) checks within the Cased Goods Warehouse and maintain record of findings
  • Identify training requirements and/or opportunities for Warehouse FLT and Line Feed Operators to maintain the correct balance of skill sets. Provide this information to the Warehouse Supervisor to prioritise and deliver training accordingly.
  • Ensure adherence to SOP and Safety procedures.
  • Provide Warehouse Supervisor with labour requirements to support daily operations within warehouse
  • Ensure the maximum utilisation of equipment and ensure that all equipment for the Operators is maintained in good condition and is available when required.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement within the Warehouse
  • Ensure that all appropriate Health & Safety precautions are taken during ALL Warehousing activities and highlight any potential areas of risk
  • Ensure that all HMRC regulations are adhered to relating to the storage, and movement, of under bond Cased Goods
  • Ensure that the working environment is maintained to a high level of cleanliness and housekeeping in accordance with agreed business standards.
  • Support Warehouse Supervisor to investigate and resolve any Finished Goods Incidents e.g. breakages, condition of containers to the satisfaction of all parties.
  • Support Warehouse Supervisor in the investigation of any Distributor Complaints relating to Finished Goods and provide a report of findings and recommendations for action required.
  • Report any Security related matters immediately to the relevant party
  • Provide support to the Warehouse FLT and Material Line Feed Operators as and when required

Work Experience Requirements
  • Experience of working within a FMCG environment
  • Ability to use all FLT attachments i.e. clamp, push-pull
  • Compliance – understanding of HMR&C requirements
  • SOX Compliance – Manage and audit ‘areas of responsibility’ to ensure warehouse team are carrying out stock checks as required to ensure stock accuracy within the Finished Goods and Dry Goods areas.
  • Full and current FLT Counterbalance certification
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of SAP transactions required to support daily operations
